Schleich | Proboscis Monkey Figurine

Proboscis monkeys live in Borneo. They never stay far from the rivers of the island, or swamps and coastal mangroves. They are arboreal species (meaning they live in trees) but when they have to look for food, they land on the floor of the forests. They’re famous for the enormous, tongue-shaped noses of adult males, whilst juveniles and females have shorter, upturned noses.

Schleich's Proboscis Monkey is sculpted on all fours and looking forward. Its furry body is predominantly brown, with lighter cream lean legs and a long tail, and its large, pear-shaped nose is hairless and pink. This monkey model is ideal for your rainforest collection.
